The most striking feature of the Blue Oil Fern is the iridescent blue colour it can develop on fronds.

These can be difficult plants to import however this plant has been with us many months and is now rooted well in semi hydro. We highly recommend you leave the plant in this substrate / self watering pot.

Microsorum prefer higher humidity however it must not be over watered as it will start to lose its fronds.

This plant will be supplied in a 9.5cm self watering pot. Lots of the fronds have spores so you can try to germinate from these.
